Deborah works with some of the nation’s top companies, coaching executives, managers, and technical professionals to communicate their true credibility to any audience. She blends her skills in speech pathology with over 20 years of corporate experience to help solve a company’s specific communication problems.

In today’s episode of Small-Time Leaders, Deborah shares with us some of her most memorable moments as a speech pathologist. For over 20 years she has worked with stuttering communities and even founded a local group in Birmingham. Deborah not only highlights how we all struggle with communicating our feelings and thoughts sometimes, but she reminds us to all be patient and kind when someone expresses theirs, as unfortunately, we might often not understand how hard that can be.

Deborah is author of the book, “Become a Confident Business Communicator”, which is filled with insights from her three decades of working in the trenches with hundreds of managers and executives, and training thousands more in seminar settings.

In addition to her training, speaking and coaching, Deborah is president of Professional Speech Services of Alabama, P.C. and co-founder Child’sPlay Therapy Center.
